The Athar Program is a gap year program run in partnership with Beit Berl College is designed for Arab young adults (ages 18–20) from the Triangle region who are interested in pursuing studies and careers in non-formal education.
The program serves as a bridge between high school, academia, and the job market, providing participants with comprehensive personal and professional guidance toward successful integration into academic or professional frameworks.
Athar combines personal identity development, social awareness, and career planning, and includes meetings with potential employers, academic and educational field visits, as well as hands-on experience and volunteer work in educational settings.
Participants take academic courses accredited by Beit Berl College, alongside classes in YAEL exam preparation, spoken Hebrew, and spoken English. They also receive individual mentorship and professional support throughout the year.
